Help me present my research on child soldiering at the International Criminal Court

For anyone who doesn’t know, I’m a huge advocate of the non-profit Invisible Children, which works to end child soldiering in central East Africa.

As part of my on-campus involvement, I’ve been invited to attend a conference in March at The Hague- the International Criminal Court’s headquarters in the Netherlands.

As part of this conference, I’ve submitted a proposal for a research paper on child soldiering, something I’ve been working on with one of my close friends, who also supports Invisible Children. There’s a huge chance I’ll get to present my research at the actual International Criminal Court headquarters- a huge deal for me, since I want to study international criminal law post-undergrad.

I’m usually not one to be selfish and ask for money, but this is such a huge and incredible opportunity for me to present my research and spread the awareness of Invisible Children, and I’d be so absolutely grateful for any and all financial support I might receive.

Thank you all so much,

Randi Shaffer
